Because he goes on and on about how Boise State deserves to play in the national championship with its creampuff schedule and Alabama (and other SEC) fans disagree with it?

The guy should resign from CBS and go work for VERSUS

No. I couldn't care less about his or any of the caller's opinions. It's how the callers express their opinions that amuse me.

And their lack of self-awareness is icing on the cake of amusement.

Yeah, Legend really rambled on with clarity on the call I heard.
He may have his faults, but he certainly expressed himself clearly and without all the "uhs" and "you knows" that you hear from so many radio callers.

Ryan, kinda hard to believe you don't already have enough people to look down your nose at.

You've made it quite clear on this thread that you A) enjoy the show and/or B) are a close friend of Finebaum's. Which is fine. I've made it quite clear (as have several others) that I think the show is hilarious on many levels and that I have a hard time taking him or his callers seriously.

My stance on his show is certainly not unheard of, so I'm not exactly sure what the problem is.

Yes, we know Slimebaum has made a nice living doing what he does. Good for him. And yes, we know that some people can't spell his name correctly. THE HORROR!!!

The fact that you are apparently irritated that people might dislike Slimebaum and his show is almost as humorous as the show itself.

I must admit I had no idea when I started this thread that Feimbaum was such a polarizing figure.

I think PF is genius. He found out what people listened to and ran with it. He's smart. He may not actually be that way--I don't know. PF is a smart fella.

Hard to disagree with that, CY.

And no matter how hurt POO's feelings are or what he might have you believe, it's certainly possible for one to find amusment in his show while also recognizing that Slimebaum has made quite a good living for himself.

Some people really need to get a freaking life. It's a radio show for crying out loud. Contrary to popular belief, not everyone is a roads (get it) scholar.
Just reading the comments here are amazing. I'm sure many would be doing the same thing if it were their job. I'm not a fan or foe of Paul Feimbaum but there are people along here putting him down as if they're 30-plus year vets and have been there and done that. Amazing.

Offering programming catering to the religious fervor with which certain factions follow particular SEC football programs can be personally enriching, to a marked degree. Not much doubt about it.

People have every right to like/enjoy it. Just don't demand that I take
    the end results seriously.

I enjoy listening now. There are actually a lot of educated callers around the country. He is MUCH better than Cowherd.
