Similar public persona? Huh? But I think he's been fine, but a little whiny since the arrest. Travolta is driving me nuts. Just such an over the top distraction.

Yeah, I guess all black guys with a good smile are the same to them. ;)

I actually have loved Sarah Paulson in previous roles, but she has been a bit distracting as Marcia Clark as well. Really think they nailed it on Darden. And the rest of the cast has been solid.

I'm enjoying it so far, but here are some thoughts:

-Sarah Paulson's wig is too good. Marcia Clark's hair was much worse.
-Even more than the voice, Cuba's height is really distracting. When they showed him standing up for the "Absolutely 100% Not Guilty" plea, Travolta towered over him.
-Agree that they nailed it on Darden. Courtney Vance as Johnny Cochran has been good, too.
-I wonder if Robert Kardashian was really as wimpy as David Schwimmer is playing him. I get that he was probably shocked and in denial that OJ could have killed Nicole, but his disbelief is coming off wimpy to me.
    Travolta. Oy vey.

Is the idea that the father of the Kardashians would be at best a total starfucker and at worst a complete sycophant that much of a leap?

Yes, Vance and Jamal Warner have been very good. Vance nails Cohran. Just nails it.

Should've used this guy for Johnny Cochran.

I thought the casting for everyone except O.J. has been pretty damn good. I even disagree a bit with others about Travolta's Shapiro. I think he's doing fine.

Courtey Vance is a perfect choice for Cochran. Sarah Paulson is perfect for Clark. Even the guy they had play Fred Goldman looked just like him.

The best so far for me, albeit in a smaller role, is Evan Handler playing Dershowitz. Spot-on.

Also agree on Ron Goldman but his meeting with Clark in the past episode was a bit much. And I love, love Connie Britton but haven't been thrilled with her performance either, though I guess it's meant to be annoying.

I missed where Ron Goldman met with Clark. That must have been gruesome.
