I love dogs and would love to adopt another two or three or seven, but as busy as I am these days, I don’t think it’s fair to get pets I can’t give proper attention to.

So, in the meantime, it’s just one psychopath cat.

Two dogs (American Eskimo, Laika), three cats. Got dog 2 to be a playmate for dog 1, but they're jealous of each other and are rivals, not buddies.

Squirrels. Unknown number, estimated at more than four. Used as perimeter security. The don't bark, they don't shit in the yard in amounts large enough to see, and they don't try and lick my face.

They chatter. Much like the windtalkers. Very valuable in wartime.

Have gone from three cats and a turtle to one cat in the last two years. Tough getting over the two cats dying, especially the 6-year-old, who went from healthy and jumping around to dying from pneumonia in a period of 12 hours.

The remaining cat is getting up there to 15 years or so. I would like to get at least one more, but am not getting my way on that at this time.

  8. I like dogs ... Other people's dogs.

Life-long cat person (we have 4). .. Will never own another male cat again. Although we have a new female who has issues with our other females. She only hangs out in a few rooms of the house and pees on the curtains, and rugs around the house.

  9. Also,
I had two friends in high school who had ferrets as pets. They were goth/emo types.

Well, in the woods that I grew up in, we call that barking. My papa taught me how to hunt.
