Yeah, personal harassment in PMs...if that was grounds for dismissal, this place would be a lot quieter.

I remember the time someone posted a PM I sent him on the board. That poster hasn't been banned.

I saw the thread that apparently led to DP's dismissal. He didn't seem to be the worst offender there. Or is it OK that posts hinting at DP's ID remain up because he's DP?

His dismissal seems very selective. But that doesn't surprise me in the least.

And Shottie, this thread STARTED because the anti-DP crew wanted to cackle in delight. You got your wish, he's gone. Isn't that enough?

Well, if you're referring to the first part of the quote and not the second, then we disagree for perhaps the first time ever.

If outing is the no. 1 no-no here, then ANYONE who participates in it--ANYONE--should be punished equally. If banning is the punishment for outing and if three people are going back and forth and dropping hints about one another, then they should all be banned.

 

So where does that leave a certain one of your fantasy sports brethren? From what I've heard, he's done it several times with no repercussion.

 

Man, you're being awfully vociferous in defense of someone whose contribution consisted of one-line snipes at anyone and everyone on this site.

We get it; you're after some larger purpose.
