The politics thread is locked so let’s talk about anything else

The Politics board here is like fighting in hockey. It's a necessary evil. Though I would be fine if we just had a "Gladiator Thread" where people could just go after each other if they choose and keep the rest of the threads somewhat orderly.

I actually like the fact that the politics board always contained lots of links. Often I will see something interesting there that I would have missed otherwise. Unlike the Ohio Nike guy, I don't have the luxury of staying uninformed.

 

It has been tried. The mods didn't like it and most of the fights stayed on the other threads, anyway.

 

Finding your phone/keys/wallet after misplacing them is never overrated.

 

I don't post much in the politics thread but I have read every post and learned a lot. Some I don't agree with and some I do and sometimes a poster will force me to really think about my position on an issue and make me clarify my thinking (if only for myself).
