I was going to miss out on Saturday morning soccer anyway.

More seriously, hoping for the best here, although at that age a quick, painless death may be the best.

God save her, indeed. Only British monarch of many of our lifetimes (if not all of our lifetimes). She oversaw so much in her reign. There won't be another like her.

Who is more revered, the Queen of England or the Pope of Catholic?

Not that I personally give a flying flip about the monarchy, but there's a little part of me that wonders if Prince Charles, who has only been prepared 74 years for this, suddenly pulls an Albino Luciani and Prince Willie winds up getting the gig relatively soon after.

At least William takes after his mother.

I could give two squats about England's royalty, but she is a fascinating woman and her reign has been pretty amazing, especially ehen you think of how much the world has changed since she ascended to the crown.
