Random thoughts....

- It should be interesting to see what impact this will have, really. When Thatcher died over here in London, everybody predicted there would be riots in the streets, epic police clashes with protestors, but it was just a blip. Charles won't shake things up or go off-script too much, so it's not like anything will really change. Harry just isn't half the shit-stirrer that his mother was and that's what really damages the monarchy.

- Watched Diana's funeral procession along with a billion other people in the streets. Felt like a ghoul. Don't think I'll be taking part.

- But I will actually be buying a real newspaper tomorrow. Maybe even two!

- Nobody deserves to have to listen to Liz Truss as one of their last acts on earth. Nobody.
