You are so utterly clueless, I don't even know why anyone responds to you about anything on here, but let me break this down quickly for you:

    1. I watched every goddamn game he played.
    2. He played with a torn muscle in his hip for much of the season that the Ravens hid from the media.
    3. I talked to Harbaugh about this in the preseason, before he was released.
    4. He looked very good in the preseason. He was also in much better shape than 2013.
    5. The Ravens run-blocking in 2013 was a complete disaster, which is the main reason they hired Kubiak, to fix their running game. If Rice was in such decline, and none of it was blocking, why did Bernard Pierce also have a terrible YPC after looking very good as a rookie? Was he too in decline as a second year player?

You can respond with another one of your tantrums, but I have no interest in debating this with you.

Shark, he's just furious I clowned him on the Ferguson thread.

I'm not so sure. If he was truly slowed by injury last year, I could see that. But I think Forsett would still have started getting a lot more touches.

I'm not furious. It was cute. Irrelevant and a clear display of ignorance on your part, but cute. Given the little personal attack you launched in the post above, you seem far more like the one losing control of his anger. It really is sad how often you have done the very things you whine about others doing lately. I had come to expect more from you.

I realize Rice was slowed by an injury last season, but he is still a back with a lot of mileage on him coming off his second consecutive season of declining numbers. I'm sure you will come up with some excuses to support the less severe, but clear decline in his numbers from 2011 to 2012 as well, but the fact remains you are making an assumption that is not supported by the evidence.

You are assuming a back showing declining skills after a large number of carries in his career and coming off a serious injury that you blame for him stinking up the field in 2013 was going to bounce back to a level matching the best season of his career. I am taking a more reasonable approach, one that takes into account how short the prime of an NFL running back's career really is.

Based on not actually talking to anyone, or watching all of his games. I see. Clearly you're more credible on this subject.

No, I don't relent. I never said he can't have his opinion. I just pointed out how wrong he is, and he responded with an angry personal attack.

Oh, "talking to someone." Now DD is going to hint at some inside knowledge.

Sorry, watching all the games does not make you an expert. What you do with that visual evidence also matters. I saw Rice plenty last year and the year before. At best, it is a hell of a reach on your part to assume he could do what Forsett is doing this season. But you just had to get in your snide little remark in support of Rice.

I could not care less about the narrative. I thought the loss of Rice was not a big deal to the Ravens from day one and I have been proven correct.

    LOL.

Yeah, DD, why would you state an opinion like that, when you clearly didn't watch any of the Ravens' 2013 season.

My point about 2013 apparently sailed right over your head. Nothing new there.

Maybe DD will return with some more of the "inside knowledge" knowledge he hinted at.

He's probably off "talking to someone" now.
