I haven't read or seen a single thing Janay Rice has said about any of this, so feel free to shoot this down immediately. But a female co-worker of mine today asked if maybe Janay honestly doesn't remember what happened in the elevator.

As someone just said, typical victim of domestic violence covering for her master. Even if she doesn't remember getting hit in the elevator, does anybody think that was the first time Ray Rice hit her?

Ray Lewis: "I'm shocked. I took Ray Rice under my wing."

The World: "Oh, I get it now."

He also said a lot of crap is coming Rice's way, like black eyes. Oops.

Pacman Jones was not wrong about this four days ago.

Some very good discussion here. I have to agree this is a black eye for sports journalism, when TMZ can get to the bottom of this, while it seems too many sports journalists just took what Goodell, Rice, etc., said at face value.

Fart is right that Goodell won't resign over this, but maybe some of the players who called for Rice to be suspended will start calling Goodell on the carpet to come forward and admit that he fucked everything up... even if it means they could get fined by Goodell for daring to criticize him.

And if he did, well, you can bet the backlash against Goodell will be even worse than it is now.

As far as the Fox and Friends remarks go, Stephen A. Smith was suspended a week for his remarks about domestic violence. I wonder if Rupert Murdoch has the guts to do the same to the Fox and Friends hosts who opened their big mouths.

But back to Goodell... hey, it's only a few weeks until it's time to wear pink and show everyone we are concerned about women! Yee-haw!

They were laughing at black people. That doesn't get you fired from Fox. That gets you a raise.

And remember what dumb fat fuck Whitlock said on PTI: I don't know what happened in that elevator.

America will be much better-served if he has to resort to bank robbery and murder-for-hire than if he played football on Sundays. He's also much more likely to get and continue anger-management counselling now that he has no income.

Of course, neither of these statements are true, but America got its pound of flesh today, and that's all that really matters.
