A WordPress blog that's been taken down, too. The link in the NYT story is no longer found. Oops.

Funny to hear Carl Banks lecture the NFL on domestic violence since he was once arrested for ....... domestic violence.

FLINT, MI – NFL legend Carl Banks says the NFL missed a big opportunity by letting Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice off with a two-game suspension.

The House Judiciary Committee has just fired off a letter to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell ... demanding that he come clean.

Probably healthier but I find that dark chocolate nullifies the taste of the coffee too
    much.

Who's putting whip cream on their coffee?

I only put whip cream in my coffee if there is some Jameson around to go with it.

It's pretty fricken gross that Jovan Belcher killed his girlfriend/wife, and then killed himself in the parking lot of an NFL facility and it still took Ray Rice to have a big national conversation about partner abuse, right? In fact, if I remember right, that ended up just being a lot of speculation about head injuries. For like a week.

"National conversations" (damn, I fucking hate that term) rarely last longer than a week or two. Those with divergent interests usually ensure that.

Perfect combination of video evidence and Rice being a big-enough name to get people's attention, but not so big that he couldn't be thrown under the bus by the other "players" involved.
