" ... like two bottles of hard liquor between four of them."

That's why he only got 2 games. They were pickled when he hit her after a bit of aggression by her.

The real theater is this clusterfuck of a cover-up.

Paul George, proving once again that just because you can post to Twitter doesn't mean you should:

Sample of multiple tweets: "I don't condone hittin women or think it's coo BUT if SHE ain't trippin then I ain't trippin.. Lets keep it movin lol let that man play!"

This was posted at about 8:30 a.m. ET -- today.

I'll buy NFL is telling the truth about never seeing the tape if they admit a former player who works in the league headquarters was supposed to take it to Goodell's office, but forgot due to concussions.

It's entirely plausible, to me, that: 1) NFL headquarters could have found itself in possession of a copy of the security video; and 2) a deliberate decision was made to NOT view the video so as to not run afoul of any number of things (the law, terms of the CBA, etc., etc.).

Perhaps in his rehab, Paul George is too busy thinking angry thoughts about the stripper who filed a paternity lawsuit against him, you know, the one he allegedly wanting to pay $1 million to have an abortion.

    UPDATE: George deleted his tweets.

John Mara, who already publicly defended Goodell, and Art Rooney II will be "overseeing" the Mueller probe.
    Ain't no mountain high enough . . .

I thought the AP story was pretty clear that the call and the "yeah it's pretty bad" came directly from NFL headquarters.

    March 10, 2008, AP:

NEW YORK - Matt Walsh, the former New England Patriots employee said to have tapes of illegal spying by the team, is close to an agreement to turn over information to the NFL.

    May 14, 2008, AP:

NEW YORK -- After meeting with former Patriots video assistant Matt Walsh for more than three hours, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said no new information had come to light as a result and indicated that the Spygate scandal had run its course.

    And the world bought it.
