Anheuser-Busch rattles its saber at the NFL.

Great credibility with Augie Bush IV as a board member

Anheuser-Busch paid the NFL something like $1.6 billion in their last contract. If that doesn't get their attention, not sure what will.

Agreed but still kind of ironic given that Busch was involved with
2 women that met untimely deaths.

Probably the best thing I've read on the subject: http://grantland.com/features/nfl-football-domestic-violence-ray-rice/

NPR had a rep from the NFLPA on this morning, talking about their appeal of Ray Rice's indefinite suspension. Standard boilerplate - two game suspension, then indefinite is double jeopardy, lack of due process, we deplore his actions but must stand up for our members, yadda yadda. Smooth talker though.

36 minutes into SportsCenter and they finally got to talking about 2 baseball teams winning division titles.

Yeah, but wouldn't we also beat them up if they didn't get to the NFL's troubles until the 36th minute?

    Yes, we would.

You can't lead with anything else right now and still have any credibility as a news organization.

Please. You can lead with it but just break it up after 10 inutes. So many fucking talking heads.

3-5 minutes of current headlines, then cut to 3-5 minutes of baseball them hump our brains out with the National Felony League.LeagueLeag

Yes, yes. I agree with that. I'm strictly talking about what you lead with and that you can't wait until minute 36 to talk AP.
