The ringtone that people over 24 can't hear

God, yes. Make it stop. It hurt my 37-year-old ears. (And I worked in a pressroom for nine years.) It would drive my dog nuts.

My mom, however, can't even hear her microwave.

Her rarely-used cell phone predates the "vibrate" setting option and it's set for the loudest and lowest tone possible. There's even a warning next to the setting, saying it's extremely loud. It'll go off and people 20 feet away will glare at her, but she's oblivous.

 

Couldn't hear a thing. I already knew my ears were shot.

I sent it to my kids. They said it was "pretty obnoxious" Then they laughed at me for not being able to hear it. Welcome to my world.

 

I can tell when it started and stopped ... in between it was kind-of high-pitched but I didn't really hear much. I'm 30. What is it supposed to sound like?

 

Yea and those same people glared are the same idiots that are probably yapping on their phone in at a store or the bank or wherever loud enough for everyone to hear.

 

OK, how obnoxious . . . and my 30-year-old ears with hearing loss from too many bar bands and a current ear infection had no problems hearing it.

 

I heard it (I'm 37). CNN played it earlier today and I couldn't hear it then, though.

 

I didn't hear it.......but I now have 6 dogs barking like crazy at my front door.


(I could hear it............obnoxious. Vibrate people.)

 

I've played it three times and can't hear a damn thing.

Meanwhile my cat just scrammed. No, I'm not kidding.

 

No kidding Ashy -- that isn't a ringtone....that's a dog whistle.

Could tell when it started and stopped, but not much else.

 

32 and didn't hear a thing. Uh oh.

 

I could barely hear it when I turned up my speakers to 11. My cat didn't seem to dig it though.

 

heard it. hated it.

Let's just kill all the teenagers.
