Win or lose, I like how my Eagles have played tonight. I was worried they'd be tight and intimidated by the surroundings and the opponent. They've given themselves a chance to win against a real good team, and that's all you can ask.

And to answer, your question, 93, he'd have been hosed at the plate if they'd sent him.

The kid tapdanced like Franco Harris between first and second. That ball was killed. It was not being caught.

Karl Ravech makes me retch. Stick to the studio. And I don't care he's a fill in.

I'm sick of coaches' wife shots, I'm sick of the same story lines, I'm sick of bullshitting about shit that doesn't have anything to do with the game. I'd love to not have to watch but I have to.
    Fuckabuncha of World Wide Leader.

ESPN doesn't even know who the fuck is hitting. Ravech is talking about Moldenhauer being the hitter when he had come out for a pinch runner.

The plate umpire's strike zone is Grand Canyon in size.

And even with the strike zone huge, Southern Miss relievers couldn't find it.

And yet USM still can't throw strikes.

Is this the College World Series, or the Little League World Series?

As the old pitching coach used to say, "Throw strikes, Babe Ruth is dead."

Course the old pitching coach never had to throw to batters armed with metal clubs.
