For you lip readers, ASU coach Pat Murphy twice fired off the eff word over the ball four call on the UT lead-off hitter in the 8th.

 

Heard Erin Andrews talking about something or other earlier, and she kept mentioning Arizona State's last World Series appearance in 2006.
It was 2007.
But she's cute, so I guess we can let that one slide

 

Someone earlier posted that ESPN is mailing it in at the CWS. If Erin is bringing the mail, I'm all for it.

 

Arizona State's unis are hideous.

 

Yeah, but at least they're wearing their pants right. Below the knee, high stirrups, lots o' white. I'm old school. Screw the cuffs hanging over the cleats look.

 

Nah. Classic ASU look.

You should have seen the uniforms ASU wore when it won the CWS in '81 — channeling the late '70s Astros. Those were truly hideous.

 

How many different jerseys does ASU have? I know I've seen black, gray, red and white. Do they have a gold one, too, to match the hats? Or two sets of home whites?

 

And speaking of hideous uniforms, the king of hideous does it again. Doing a search for ASU's unis turned up a picture of Oregon's for some reason. Most of them don't look too bad. Pretty normal, even.
This being Oregon, though, you know there's one big exception:

 

Hersheiser: half inch mistake with a 4-foot lever vs. a half inch mistake with a 5-foot lever.

Would 1 of those 3 blabbermouths tell me if the ASU runner reached on an error or a hit in the 9th.

Yet the football team needs four different helmets?

 

No yellow jersey either. Yellow looks good on baseball jerseys. A yellow hat would've gone well with it, as would a white hat with the white jerseys. Guess they blew all their money figuring out a way to get the fight song printed into the fabric.
