Thirteen innings of scoreless relief? Tracy Smith just bought a plane ticket to Texas and has no idea why.

Boston College is right back at it right now vs. Army. Fame starts in 20 mins.

Game time has been pushed back to 1 p.m. CT.

Besides the obvious (wanting to win the game), how the hell do you let your closer throw 169 pitches?

Before last night/this morning, had the closer had that much work in the postseason?

  8. 12 1/3 innings without a hit. 13 in relief with 14 K's, four walks and two hits.
I started watching the game at work at about 7. Left at 12:30 in the 23rd inning. Had to follow the rest of the game on Twitter on the drive to Dallas.

What a game. Wish I could have been there. Hook 'em.

    How?

I'd of thought that Augie was going to run through much of his staff. Then, I remembered he's channeling Cliff Gustafson and it all made sense.

BTW, how many runners did Texas leave on base?

The American-Statesman did a good job online.

Fans who stayed will be talking about the game for years. Good times.

Gustafson was probably the worst ever in abusing arms. But there are others.
