My only complaint, I could have lived without seeing Shane's ass.

I'm beginning to wonder if it ends with Vic's wife and Shane's wife deciding to turn in their husbands. I know the latter stood by her man last night, but I can't help but think both will realize it's the only way to give their children a somewhat normal existence.

It sure looks like it's going that way with Vic's wife. And Mara -- though she's also dirty in a lot of this -- has got to see the writing on the wall.

Helluvan episode. Although the whole "Nice day at home" thing with Shane and Mara was just pathetic. Couldn't end fast enough. Other than that, though, my gut was pretty much churning throughout this episode. Three more episodes left.

I haven't been with the show since day 1 (more like season five), but I have a hard time imagining an end in which either of them aren't dead. Maybe if there was one more season, and it was focused on their defense against the charges and "who flips on who first?", I could see it. But with three episodes left, I think we should expect a brutal and bloody endgame. Getting thrown in holding is going to be a serious letdown of a final scene.

The more I think about it, the more likely Mara is to shoot someone than flip and turn Shane in.

I really dislike Mara, no wonder she and Shane hit it off so well. Missed this episode on Tuesday (too busy getting hammered on Election Night). What the hell happened to Dani? None of the characters seem to miss her.
The only way I see this going down is Shane ends up trailing Vic to a meeting with Aceveda on the ICE thing, and there is a massive shootout, Wimms and Dutch are trailing Shane so they get in on it. Everybody dies. First officer on the scene is Julian. Fade to black.

Well, this week was pretty good, with more plot twists, etc. But the big-time bloodshed apparently still lies ahead. These next couple weeks should be unreal.

  9. And I don't miss her either. Her character never added anything to the show. I get the feeling that she will be making a big reappearance though.

this week was a good episode. Sets up the final two quite nicely.
Vic just wants to get himself and Ronnie jobs with ICE before the shitstorm with Shane hits the fan while Aceveda just wants the glory of being the hero of the bust as a campaign ploy.

However you've gotta love Shane's trickery - knowing that they would intercept the letter and having it say what it did.

Maura (or however you spell Shane's wife's name) must go. She's too easy to dislike.

What would be great, but won't happen is for Shane and Maura to be shot by Tavon, while Vic & Ronnie get caught in the crossfire between ICE agents and the Mexicans. It gets exposed as an investigation gone bad due to bad intel from Aceveda and he loses the election from the fallout of his actions leading to the deaths of a police officer and a former officer.

Now that Vic's out of the barn, Dani will return.

Oh that would be sweet. After last night's episode, I wouldn't be surprised if Mara kills Shane for her own self-preservation.

I can't see Mara killing Shane, but I can see her trying to get a deal - immunity for herself if she turns Shane in.
