Dammit, I don't have a framable pm yet. I'd even settle for a flammable pm.

Because anything else will be redundant, I will never do this again, but I feel it's worth noting that why I just can't get Simmons is exemplified by the 3,344-word NBA column that leads Grantland as we speak.

So far there seems to be a lot of looking back in a wistful manner. As I read Grantland I keep hearing Judy Collins sing "those were the days".

At some point these guys are going to have to look forward and stop looking towards yesterday.

It's all making me teary for the good ole days.

    Pierce's piece was fantastic.

Agreed. Of course, Simmons is doing that with his NBA column. But it is too long.

Just read Macgregor piece on 4th St Basketball court. Fantastic story. Made me want to lace up my Con's and head to the court.

Enjoyed The National history. I hope Feinstein's other cat is still OK.

Loopy reportedly dropped his suit off at the cleaners to have the skid marks removed.

Do you believe those guys were cranking out 3,500-word stories in four hours? That's 15 words per minute if they didn't go back to read over what they had written and rework it.
