I think it's very time efficient to use this thread to highlight the must read Grantland articles.

 

I check the site every day in case there's some sort of gem on there.

 

And?

 

Maybe two a week. Maybe three. Doubtful that it's BASW material, but stories that I'm glad I came across.

Actually, I think they're hitting more with their pop culture material than their sports.

One of those great little surprises just showed up in the past hour or two, a brilliant collection of YouTube videos from the past.

A geeky Dave Letterman on the $20,000 Pyramid ... Richard Pryor at his strangest in an interview, weeks before he set himself on fire ... A highlight film of the top 1992 high school players.

 

I'll stand by my decision.

 

One of the networks needs to figure out a way to digitize all of their old shit like this. I would kill to be able to watch old Johnny Carson episodes, Pyramid, Match Game when they were all shit-faced, Battle of the Network Stars...
