Make that 112 today (thanks to Bonds and baseball), moving me into a tie for 249th place with Rambo. That is all for me, for I need sleep and a new hobby or two. ...

  2. By my calculations, I'll be passing you somewhere around May ...

Zeke passed me recently, which dropped me from the top 10. My 15 minutes are up.

Well, at least it was two baseball fans enjoying a historic day, in a sense.

Damn, that means you are coming calling for me as well. I better continue my insane post-padding.

And Oz is worth more than honorable mention. He'll be back, I have a feeling once his honeymoon ends, hence my voting for him No. 4.

  8. Actually, I've been hitting a wall of late. The only thing keeping me above my 20-post-a-day average are caffeine, nicotine-induced nights like tonight.

Well, Write, the only thing keeping me going is baseball, booze and nicotine, so you may be one step ahead.
And you will have your chance - I know this is what you have always hoped for - because I get to drive around West Texas for 5 days interviewing 25 coaches for season previews.
At least I am out of the office, but I don't know what I will do with my SportsJournalists.com withdrawals. Normally I'd post from my phone, but that costs money plus I will be in tiny ass towns that don't have cell phone service.
I think I may freak out.

I can at least take some solace in that, you're right. And Glavine goes for No. 300 tonight. I know where I'll be.
