Maybe league play needs to be done by a certain date, come hell or high water? Just guessing.

Way to stand off on that cross, Croatian defenders. Wouldn't want you to overexert yourselves.

Pastor, what is this bizarre Scottish halftime ritual on ESPN360 right now?

Liechtenstein 1, Finland 1 FT; Finns rattle one off the post in final 15 seconds.

A war just broke out and TrooperBari knows exactly why. :D

Lennon is playing absolutely brilliantly for England. Denied England's third by a really good save.

It's because of the Real Madrid-DC United friendly that this scheduling occurred:

That's me — bringing the world together in hatred since 1981.

After more than 100 minutes that were high on effort and low on results, there's finally a goal in the Saudi-Bahrain playoff. Nice one-touch play from the Saudis, too.

Whoever wins, I hope they get demolistroyed by New Zealand.

Heskey showing why no one really thinks he's a very good striker, wasting an opportunity when put clear through.

ETA: And then doing it AGAIN. Weren't Croatia good, like, recently?
