Premier League to introduce new rules on club finances and homegrown players. From next year, clubs will have to name a squad of 25, of which 8 will have to be 'homegrown,' or registered to an English or Welsh club for at least three years between ages 16 and 21.

I have no idea what club could possibly have prompted the financial rules. :D

The amusing chant of the season from Stoke fans to Chelsea this weekend -- "you're not signing anymore".

I liked the one from Pompey fans a couple weeks ago, when Adebayor went down on a questionable foul: 'Same old Arsenal, always cheating.'

Both of those are what I like to call "some funny shit".

But what's the difference between Pompey and a triangle?

    A triangle has three points

I remember that joke last year about Spurs, you bastard. :D

And Big Circus, you might enjoy the BBC's Sport Quotes of the Week. Has a whole section of chants. My personal favorite this week comes from Sunderland's supporters: 'You've been hit by, you've been struck by ... Lee Cattermole!'

Does anyone know why Milan doesn't have a shirt sponsor for tonight's game?

No Champions League on TV here, either. Currrrrrrrrrrrrrrses.

    --------------

Gooch not in the 18 again for Milan. He's got to get PT at some point or October could be unnecessarily interesting.

They are sponsored by an online gambling site. I bet there are some laws in whatever country they are playing in (Switzerland?) regarding this type of ad.
