IFK Gothenburg's GK Kim Christensen gains an edge on the opponent by moving the legs of the goal toward each other ...

So, I found out about the whole Honduras v. USA game. Turns out all the bars are going to charge $20 at minimum for it... if they pony up the dough ahead of time to show the game. It is a very very odd situation.

Looks like a lot of people will be out of luck on this one. There is unlikely to be a MyP2P feed.

$20 for a qualifier? No thank you and I'm going to assume most soccer bar owners will also take a pass on this.

That is the bare minimum that a bar can charge a patron for the game.

I know Nevada Smith's will likely show it. Other than that, I'm not sure. I'm going to talk to my local and see what they say. They've spent that much on games before but that involved Rangers. We'll see...

There is no way the rights holder is going to do better than they would have with PPVs available at home or simply selling to the WWL. ESPN could have promoted the heck out of it.

    Interesting.

I just hope that if it is played there things don't go batshit haywire at the last minute. We don't need to be playing in the middle of a damn revolution.

NPR was reporting the de facto president of Honduras has banned "large gatherings of people." So, at the least, it might be played in an empty stadium if this unrest continues.

Who's that signing for Notts County now? Why, it's the worst striker in the history of the Premier League!

Holy hell was he awful. Couldn't finish for anything. Apparently the Dynamo found that out as well.

As did the 11 clubs he played for before Houston.

I somehow get the feeling an awful lot of people are going to be laughing at Notts County when they don't get promoted in May.
