Un-fucking-real that a penalty wasn't called against Sevilla in the first half. Naismith was clearly taken down in the box. I have the Spanish feed up and their halftime show even called it a penalty.

    That non-call was utterly shocking.

Poor defending by Rangers allows for a second goal to Sevilla. Ugh.

At least the US won earlier today...

Good God. This Olympiacos keeper is a wall. Save after save after save. Still scoreless in the 74th.

Another stunning save in the 77th. It's so rare to see something like this. What a night.

    G'damn Crew.

Had three points in hand, but Saprissa steals a tie off a free kick in the end to make things far too interesting for comfort in the CONCACAF Champions League.

Crew now needs to beat Puerto Rico on the road on Oct. 20 to advance.

Couldn't believe the ref/linesman allowed Carroll to be prison-raped at the far post by the Saprissa player who scored the goal.
    Just a ridiculous non-call.
Hey, if nobody saw the U.S. U-20s, they missed a nice second-half show by Dilly Duka of Rutgers. A fantastic chip goal and some nifty footwork on several other plays. Americans play again Friday at 12:45, against Korea. I believe a win would get them through.

Owen off injured after just 20 minutes. Won't help his bid to get back in the England team.

United have wasted some chances and now they're behind after 55 minutes. Nice headed goal, if with a whisper of a hint of offside.

And predictably it didn't last. 1-1.
