You see this is what you get when you run your mouth about the effectiveness of long throws.

Three of the Big Four down, one to go, baby.

Really hoping for a South Coast derby in the draw ...

Holy fucking shit, it actually happened. Down to the last three balls, with both still in there, I was willing West Brom to come out against Reading. And they did.

The only disappointment is it's not a home game, but holy hell.

Chelsea keep on getting easy draws, this time home to Cardiff.
    Man City v Stoke
    Derby v Birmingham
    Wolves/Palace v Villa
    Fulham v Notts/Wigan
    Bolton v Spurs/Leeds

Half time from the Milan Derby: Inter 1, Milan 0. But a straight red for Wesley Sneijder for sarcastically clapping at a referee. Four yellows, two coulda-been penalties ignored, and about a zillion people's passion. If only I knew more about Serie A besides Beckham and Ronaldinho being in the game.

That straight red for Sneijder is one of the most absurd, game-killing ref decisions I've seen. Still an entertaining match, but Inter will spend the rest of this game in a far more defensive stance.

I suppose it's possible that he said something to the ref as he was sarcastically applauding. But you'd have to think it was pretty bad. The only time I've ever seen a straight red for dissent was after a player accused a linesman of cheating. That, apparently, is the soccer equivalent of calling an ump a cocksucker.

What if Sneijder knew the Italian for cocksucker?

Stuart Holden has just completed a move to Bolton. Interesting.

I agree. There's nothing like a relegation fight to really hone your skills.[/Jozy]
