I think I have to save my nickels and dimes so I can go to the US-Costa Rica WC qualifier at RFK in October.

Also, I was going to go with my cousin and some friends from North Carolina to RFK for the Gold Cup match a few weeks ago. Good thing I didn't -- he's got swine flu now.

 

Wow, glorious couple of chances for Costa Rica to take the lead, one off the angle of the post and crossbar, the rebound just wide.

 

GB, you are right on Costa Rica. They could come away with the win in this. They are a real tough team.

As much as I'd love to see US v. Mexico on Sunday, I just can't bring myself to root for Mexico in any capacity.

Weak, close the the goalie, never had a chance of going in unless the keeper dived over it.
