    Ah, wish I had more for you. I was tied up hooping in Vegas. I did watch the highlights on MLSnet. I think Robert W. is starting to like the Lenhart/Garey tandem. It's been killer the past two weeks.

    Two hours before kickoff of USA-Mexico, and the Giants Stadium parking lot might as well be Azteca North.

    It's at least 80-20 Mexican fans, though Pastor's boys are representing well. I think that's the Sam's Army tailgate section as well.

    Splendid. :p ::)

    I still can't get dos-a-cero -- run to the tune of Rossini's "Barber of Seville" -- out of my brain.

    I'm at my favorite local bar with my favorite Mexican bartender. Life is good. Let's get it on.

    Not the best play from either side. I suspect Dos Santos will either score or set up one in the second half. Robbie Rogers has to make better decisions.

    At least both are being aggressive instead of timid and scared of making mistakes.

    No telling what one place in my hometown is doing. When I last stopped there, it was the evening the U.S. beat Spain in the Confed Cup. I walked in wearing a U.S. soccer shirt and they immediately asked if I saw the Americans beat Spain.

    That place is SRO, I bet.

    I'm just glad the good fans in that area finally get to see some good soccer. RBNY has sucked a special kind of suck this season.

    What penalty?

    Lots of contact, yes, but Jay Heaps did not gain an advantage with his actions. This will be up for discussion ...

    Heaps had his shirt. The ref had no choice.

    Dunno. Won't deny that Heaps had some contact - his flop was learned on the floor at Card Gym and Cameron Indoor - but the guy backed into him.

    Mexico running over a gassed U.S. side. Perkins couldn't keep them out forever the way Mexico was making runs.

    One of these teams appears to have stopped playing soccer.
