Ah, Mexico runs the old 2-on-3 to perfection.

In case there was any doubt ... another tally. 3-0 Mexico in the 67th minute.

I've bailed on this mess. We just didn't have it today. Mexico has been craving a beating like this for a while. Hopefully we return the favor.

Dos Santos is the real deal.

Bradley started running the trap, because. . .

And the penalty call was bullshite.

Let Mexico get too big a head. Sure, it gives the side momentum, but there's no top players for the U.S. out there. No Landon, Gooch, Tim Howard, Hejduk, etc., etc ...

Outside of Brian Ching, there's not a lot of experience and not much of what the U.S. hopes to put on the pitch in South Africa out there. While Mexico obviously has a home-field advantage in the upcoming qualifier - and turned the Meadowlands into something pretty similar - the stadium issue is at least in part in the heads of the Americans.

These Fox Soccer Channel commentators are idiots talking about how things have shifted in the series. Yeah, it sucks to take one in the ass by Mexico, but this is what, the B-minus team? Good lord, if anything you'd think this would add motivation to the main group when WC qualifying resumes. That said, this is nasty.

the first contact was the Mexico player smacking Heaps in the face. Absolute bullshit penalty kick call. Let's say this much - the USA doesn't get the same call.

Anyone know how many regulars Mexico played?

Worse, the man had his back turned to Heaps. If he faces Heaps, the call is much more valid. But the way in which he backed into him made the call a crock.

And what we'll never know is if Mexico was ready to knock over a tired side at that point, or if the PK sucked the air out of the U.S.

I think the PK just sucked the life out.

Hate Mexico. Absolutely hate them. I wonder how many of those Mexican fans today are American citizens.

I'll just chalk that up to the heat of the moment, King.
