Disappointing result for Celtic, as it loses 1-0 at home to Dynamo Moscow in the first leg of its Champions League qualifier.

 

I watched at my desk today. The most disappointing aspect of the whole thing was the fact that Celtic missed three absolute sitters. Two shots were put right into the keeper's breadbasket and a third, somehow, went in the other direction from goal.

My understanding, however, is that the loser of this bounces into the Europa League.

 

Yeah, I believe that's the case.

Toronto and Puerto Rico still tied 0-0 at BMO.

 

And, of course, PR steals a goal against the run of play.

 

That was one epic save off the header by the PR keeper.

So assuming this holds (we're in stoppage now), should the guy who came out to give the keeper a new pair of gloves, eating minutes off the clock in progress, get man of the match?

 

True, great save to preserve what looks like a pretty unlikely road win.

 

These two-tone MLS All-Star jerseys are not good.

The top half makes them look like they're wearing nice blue shoulder pads.

 

PR pulled that move three times that I remember last season in the CCL with various pieces of equipment. I also saw them do it once in the USL as well.

 

I actually liked them.

And that was one wild-ass shootout.

 

They just didn't feel right. Chelsea's got the same outline going on in their new jersey, no two-tone though.

I guess we're going to see more of this as more adidas kits get rolled out.
