Those are the same kit layouts that RBNY, Bayern and Chelsea have this year. They are actually heavy to wear. In short: they suck major ass.

Big crowd for the CONCACAF game tonight. A few more people and they may have a minyan.

Xavi Alonso has requested his transfer from Liverpool, and is expected to be headed to -- where else? -- Real Madrid.

Crappy MLS team vs. team from country small enough to fit in three cabs. UEFA Champions League, this ain't.

Check the matchups in the UEFA version's first qualifying round sometime.

Hey, Meat, that is my crappy MLS team you are talking about!

With that, RBNY actually almost got a goal there. Crazy.

Not saying everything in UEFA is Manure vs. Barca, but this has a high school game atmosphere. And at first I thought WConn on the screen represented Western Connecticut, which I thought was a USL 2 team. Then I looked it up and that's actually Western Massachusetts.

Feckin hell. Almost an own goal followed by an actual goal. This sucks.

And Meat... as Deskslave points out, the early qualifying rounds usually draw shit too. Take a look at Celtic's attendance vs. Kuanas last year. It was embarrassing for such a high level team.

Hell, games in what is now the Europa League often don't do that well, either. And even some CL group-stage games can be woefully underattended.

Is it just me or is Rojas complete crap. He either sits on the ball too long or plays some brutally awful passes that are way off from their target.

Damn! Angel almost had something there. Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!

Then I sit corrected, though this is clearly a depressingly small crowd and a definite contrast to Toronto-PR Islanders last night.

I think that's because of the locations of the games more than anything. Toronto has a pretty devoted, passionate following.

I can't speak with honesty about the Western Connection's fanbase, but I'm guessing it's not big.
