If you can't beat em ...

After losing 7-1 to Colchester on the opening weekend, Norwich fired manager Brian Gunn and replaced him with ... Colchester manager Paul Lambert.

Chelsea sign another Serb, Nemanja Matic. That's six Serbs under contract at Chelsea (Ivanovic, Rajkovic, Matic) and Man U (Vidic, Tosic, Ljaljic).

Journo Athletic, should have put a Not So in the middle failed to recognize that issue of the Week 2 schedule being very light. The debate now rages, take a couple 0s or go for it and get a few deductions and restock the lineup.

BTW, does anyone care about my fantasy team or is just like baseball and football?

Why is FSC showing this crap instead of Celtic v. Arsenal?

Nice. Arsenal just literally backed into a lead at Celtic. Fabregas free kick ricocheted off William Gallas's back and into the net just before the half.

Lucky? Yes. And I don't care.

Those in the NYC area will be given a nice little gift on Tuesdays. MSG+ will be showing Champions League games in HD!

I have Verizon FiOS so I don't get that channel in HD, but they did show the Celtic/Arsenal game live today.

ESPN ratings for EPL debut ... 0.2 for 164,000-ish viewers. Not bad considering the lack of promotion.

I wonder how many people watched it on DVR?

And not bad, considering it was Chelski-Hull.

Derwood/Inks, I watched Celtic-Arsenal on MSG of all stations. That's Channel 635 on your DirecTV dial. The Gunners were one pass away every trip down from making that about 9-0, yet they score on a ducking deflection off Gallas' back and on an own goal from Caldwell.

Hey, whatever it takes to get two away goals. . .
