Twellman just set up another nice goal for Noonan....headed one down in the box, and Noonan hit a little volley to give the Revs a 1-0 lead over KC.

 

Second goal by NE was better though. Great counter-attack started by a Matt Reis throw, flicked on to Ralston who set up Cristman for a nice finish.

End-to-end in about 15 seconds.

It's a great idea. 9/9 is a FIFA international date, so clubs are obligated to release whoever gets called up. Why not give the kids from the Gold Cup and Copa America some experience in CONCACAF's toughest venue before qualifying starts?

If the US loses, it's a learning experience and no skin off BB's nose. If the US wins, the wailing and beating of chests from down south will warm my heart for a lifetime.
