At least some of it is the coach, Dale Mitchell. He and his teams underwhelmed at the youth level, so naturally the CSA decided to hand him the senior team job.

Canada obviously has the talent to succeed. It's too bad the people in charge of the game up there make the USSF look competent.

 

Am I the only one who wishes American sportswriters would do this sort of thing more often?
