Spurs off to its worst start in EPL history.

Lost 2-1 to Aston Villa today.

So, how's Juande Ramos working out for you, Beaker?

All I have to say is Hurelho Gomes is a steaming pile of crap. Even Robinson wouldn't have committed that howler.

Ramos isn't the problem...it's with some of the players and those upstairs. And Bentley was absolute crap when he came on; his delivery was abysmal.

Aren't these the guys he wanted to bring in? Or is this just a hangover from selling their main two goalscorers right as the season begins?

Given some of the deadweight that Levy and Comolli have brought in the past (Rocha, Boateng, Taarabt etc) I'm willing to give Ramos the benefit of the doubt at this point. And yeah, I think selling Keane and Berbatov has had a measurable effect of course...so far I don't think the team has settled. I saw some of the game today, and despite Bentley and Gomes, there were some decent individual displays (Giovani, Bale, Lennon, Jenas), but the cohesiveness isn't there apparently.

Guess who could be showing up next at the City of Manchester Stadium.

Ronaldo, who is currently rehabbing his knee, and a free agent after getting released from Milan.

He thinks he and Robinho could score 50 goals together.

Interesting if the WWL gets into the EPL game. Not sure where they would put the games though.

This could be a watershed moment in global soccer economics if the ratings are significant.

I think ESPN would make room for the Prem if the numbers were good enough. I also wouldn't be at all surprised if the Prem becomes a cash cow in America over the next 5 to 10 years.

Define "significant." Is it 5m watching a given EPL match?
