It was inevitable. Will always be grateful for his help in guiding the club out of the Championship, but he was tactically out of his depth in the Premier League. Yesterday's performance was an abomination, but this has been building for a few weeks now.

Nothing like the international break to lead to inflammatory player statements and international managers ripping club management of their players, all of which is followed by blaming incorrect translations.

Ranieri does have some PL experience. We shall see how this works. Watford has some players, enough to stay up. Just need to be better tactically.

For those of you pining away for Sally Yates, US Soccer just hired her to investigate the abuse allegations running rampant in the NWSL. Alex Morgan says it’s a league-wide problem. Washington Spirit majority owner Steve Baldwin has resigned his post as the team’s managing partner.

People on Tyneside seem to be coping with the moral dilemma just fine.

Well, Geordies gonna Geordie. Can't really blame them too much after the Mike Ashley era. And they still packed the place, unlike plastic Man City fans.

The last 25 of Belgium-France in the Nations League semis was incredibly entertaining stuff.
