Welp, that’s going to stink. ESPN did a great job with the Euros.

Fox turns every soccer broadcast to crap. ESPN grows the Euros, UCL and WC and Fox outbids them and does a subpar job. I’m not sure why they even want to broadcast them given their lack of commitment to quality.

This sucks. ESPN was great on Euros. So we've got Fox for Euros and WC until 2028 and I'm quite certain Fox has exclusive negotiations for the WC for 2030 after Kris Kringle delivered 2026 to their doorstep.

Just imaging the job that ESPN would have done with a WC on home soil. Now it is going to be Alexi Lalas and Gus Johnson.

The Western Conference Decision Day was druuuuuuunk.

Sporting KC has a stone-cold penalty shout rejected, which leads to a late winner for Real Salt Lake, which means it comes down to Minnesota United-LA Galaxy. Loons blew a 2-0 lead, then took a 3-2 lead on an own goal, and coughed that up. One goal would have put them out but they managed to hold on, don't ask me how.

I don’t know what the fine structure is for MLS managers, but Vermes got his money worth.

I will always make time to watch a quality lob. For the few here who don't keep up with the Tahitian league:
