Dike to West Brom and Pepi to Augsburg. Good to see our young talent moving on.

A promotion contender in the Championship and a club one point above the relegation zone in the Bundesliga. They'll certainly play, but I worry about Pepi getting the Josh Sargent treatment. At least he'll have some fitness under his belt when the January qualifying window arrives.

Not all of our lads are going to jump in as the Number 10 at Bayern or Barca or Liverpool. There is a value to hard knocks and working your way up.

    That’s some goal by Sargent.

Happy to see Sargent score. Unhappy because my club is once again utter shite. That was a dreadful performance. But for fuck's sake, don't sack Ranieri. Why anyone would want to manage at Watford is beyond me. It's also very, very, very clear that Sarr is the glue that holds the team together and his absence has been gigantic. Rudderless on attack without him.

Big game tonight. We need all 3.

Also, did not see Matt Turner to Arsenal coming. Good for him.

And Mexico is losing to 10-man Jamaica.

Not great, but good enough. They didn't drop points, avoided injuries (AFAIK), and never really looked in danger. Call me an optimist, but I continue to live in hope Pulisic will grow out of his "1 v everyone" phase and this team will put together more than 45 good minutes at a stretch.

Nothing is guaranteed in CONCACAF qualifying. Now to keep an eye on how Canada and Panama do.
