I'm the most casual soccer fan, but every time the WC rolls around, I get sucked in again. And then it's the tense moments like the 2nd half of MAR/POR, and then the joy and relief of the winning team and fans celebrating after a win that is so, so pure. What a moment for Morocco.

In the span is this World Cup, Ronaldo has been dismissed by Man U, forced to come off the bench and eliminated by the first African nation to advance to the semis. Great month he’s having.
