Who are the ad wizards who came up with that one?

Why do we call it the English Premier League when (occasionally) Cardiff and Swansea from Wales play in it?

"How is Messi like a cue ball?"
"The harder you hit him, the more English you get."

This is the product of a federation in which the primary qualification is who your buddies are. The U.S. men’s national-team operation remains an unserious entity.

Shame on USA Soccer for leaking that in the middle of a USA-Mexico game and not using the opportunity to do a run-in and cut a promo.

"BAH GOD! THAT'S GREGG BERHALTER'S MUSIC!"

Mexican soccer is in a bad way right now, but I really think this is the best starting 11 the USMNT has fielded. Thank god all those foreign academies trained up our players!

(And it should be said - we beat that ass last night.)

Too many El Tri fans have long been going with the anti-gay chants. It's long past time for the situation to be more directly addressed by FIFA.

Of course, four red cards on the pitch isn't exactly toning down the rivalry in men's soccer between the countries.

Let the performative outrage from Very Online USMNT Fans (TM) flow. Some people just aren't happy unless they're angry.
