Yeah, but a year after hosting the men?

If temperatures keep rising, we might need to host a winter World Cup in 2026.

    You are forgiven :D

But, like Dixie said, we’ll host just the year before and never discount FIFA’s ability to FIFA a choice.

Seems like Japan or England should get a shot to host.

Given the TV time issues in the USA and Europe with the current WWC, I don’t think that Japan will come next.

Kind of disappearing in the US behind all the bashing of the super woke, un-American USNWT, is a story that there was a major mutiny by the Spanish players in the run up to the cup. 15 players on the national team submitted resignations. The Spanish Federation took a page out of the Sandy Alderson playbook and said basically that it was a threat to be ignored or an offer to accepted. The federation took the side of the coach, and the team is in the World Cup Final.

The divisive Spain coach targeting World Cup glory

The finalists for 27 are the US/Mexico, Brazil, South Africa (shocked they're being considered again) and Belgium/Netherlands/Germany. My money is on Brazil or Europe to host. Don't see a year after a Canada/US/Mexico cup they'd run it back in the US and Mexico.

Also, the Olympics are here in 2028, so you'd have a men's World Cup in 2026, women's World Cup in 2027 and the Summer Olympics in 2028.

Way to show you don't care about women's sports. Maybe that's why it took them this long to become this successful

UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin was not in attendance for the Women’s World Cup final despite the championship match featuring two European teams.
England and Spain were facing off for what will be the first Women's World Cup title for either team.

UEFA instead was represented by Nadine Kessler, technical director of women’s soccer.

Listening to Talk Sport as I do, the only time women's soccer rates in Britain is when the women are playing in the WWC.

    Guess they're all Scottish now.
