I got home from work at the 70 minute mark and thought Fox had made a mistake on the graphic.

I turned it on in the 55th minute. Ms. Ragu was getting ready for work, and I said, "I want to root for the underdog, but it's Saudi Arabia!"

    That was entertaining to watch.

I used to rent an office from two Argentinian guys, and from how seriously they took their national team, I am imagining an armed revolution fomenting right now in Buenos Aires.

Do you think there is anyone in the world whose title isn't Sheikh that had KSA on the moneyline?

Most of CONMEBOL might have made a hedge bet, just because.

Argentina was so close to running away with the game in the first half but couldn’t time their runs properly.

    Quick omnibus thoughts:

    - Fuck the Saudis forever, but also, LOL Argentina.
    - Yesterday's result is on Berhalter. Wales made good adjustments and he didn't have an answer. He got caught with his pants down.
    - Put me down as kind of liking the massive amounts of stoppage time. Maybe this isn't the intent, but they're finally doing something about all the time-wasting. You want to roll around on the ground to burn time? Here's 15 minutes extra.

Agree 100 percent on your second point. We were completely on our heels for the entirety of that half, and we're lucky we didn't lose the damn game.
