    That late goal was a killer. It is one thing if was just a great play but it wasn't.

    I brought up with my family about falling down by 2 in extra time to Belgium in 2014 and should have tied it. That was a long time ago though.

    If the Dutch keeper was 5-10, we would have two goals right now.

    TBF I think that happens with top-flight European players too. Especially those who go to club academies.

    Mark Pulisic got his son a lot of travel-ball opportunities, and not near home. That's one.

    So if he was a poor kid who didn't go that route, he'd be able to play for top European clubs also not just the US

    This is basically the same team I watched in LA in 1994; S Africa in 2010, etc.

    Nice team, scrappy.
    But never an advantage tactically, or athletically. Always scratching to score goals.

    I don't feel it will change in my lifetime.

    On the bright side, skipping stoppage time means I made it downtown in time for my daughter’s two performances at dance team convention.
