I believe CONCACAF gets six teams including the three hosts

 

Number one sport in Scotland which has never been out of the group stage.

 

That's kind of ridiculous. A team like the Netherlands or Italy will not make it, but one like Hati or Panama will.

 

Field is increasing to 48

 

How many qualify from Europe? South America?

 

Messi with a worm burner, but an effective one.

 

Have we had a consistent scorer since Dempsey? Not the most skilled player, but he had a knack for scoring.

Altidore had everything you'd want in a striker, size, speed, strength ... he just couldn't score.

 

16 UEFA and 6/7 CONMEBOL

 

guess that's Ok, kind of think Europe should be 18 Concacaf 4, but like the field of 48

 

UEFA has 13 now, so an added three is fine. Any more and you really are getting into some dregs. And six CONCACAF teams from four is no worse than giving Qatar an auto berth

 

So, do the US, Canada and Mexico automatically qualify as host countries?

 

Italy, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Sweden all didn't qualify. Wouldn't really call them dregs. Norway is not a great team,
but they have a world class striker. Don't think any of those who didn't qualify from Concacaf have anything like that.
