    We’ll get the U20 Olympics, but I see your point. The Euros were pretty good. Copa had trans people pulled for and had some good moments.

    The US has some work to do to get ready for the World Cup. Not talking about the team, talking about security preparations. My goodness. Hell, the Dolphins have some work to do to get that place ready in time for the NFL season. Argentina has the best uniforms, clearly - still, I've adopted Colombia as my go-to world team. The US has no shot and Colombia is a fun team that isn't like rooting for IBM.

    Yes, the whole thing was CONMEBOL. USA Soccer had no involvement and wasn't even consulted from what I've been reading.

    No that’s probably what happened. They signed an agreement for use and the stadium said you break it, you buy it. World Cup will be FIFA and people who actually know how to run stuff.

    Every time I see CONMEBOL it makes me think of COMMIE BALL, which is how my asshole football coach described it 40 years ago.
