Watford quietly in fourth on the Championship table. Maybe there will be some real stakes when I head there in March for a couple of matches at Vicarage Road.

MUFC are shite this year. But 11 matches in and they are 4 points out of Europe and 8 points safe from the drop zone.

That says more about the PL being shite than just the Red Devils.

The Men's College Cup features Denver, Vermont, Marshall and Ohio State. Unusual grouping.

I was an MLS season ticket holder for a decade and I was an early subscriber to both Peacock and what is now Paramount+ because of their soccer content. I also watch a lot of the international content on ESPN+. Having said all of that, there is zero chance that I am going pay an upcharge on Apple TV to watch MLS. Taking the quick paycheck is going to absolutely murder interest in what is a middling league outside of twilight Messi.

As they say, throw out the record book when these two get together, although in this case it might be because there's no record of them ever meeting before.

Marshall won a title a few years ago so this isn’t a complete shock on their half of the bracket. Might be the biggest culture clash imaginable between public universities on the east coast however.

I’ll take those last few minutes of the Manchester derby.
