Siting the shares of companies, including football clubs, in offshore locations such as Gibraltar or the Cayman Islands (the Glazer family's newly registered base for Manchester United) means owners avoid UK capital gains tax and stamp duty, when they sell the shares at a profit in the future. Such havens also offer to investors a guarantee of secrecy, about who owns or is involved in companies registered in them. John Christensen, a director of Tax Justice Network, which campaigns against the vast draining of money from tax-paying countries such as Britain, says tax havens should more justifiably be known as "secrecy jurisdictions".

I'd rather he move to Ipswich. Stoke sounds like it's set at d-mid and center back.

Sad. They will have trouble getting more than 100k viewers. ESPN was getting 750k.

ESPN wasn't showing the USMNT on the road, just home. The last WCQ match was only available online, for like $25.

ESPN will still have the home matches.

Maybe the qualifier at Mexico will be on Telemundo Ocho ("Los Eight")

Kenny, sold by Rangers to Leeds in the summer, is said to have been mocking QPR after the 5-0 home defeat by Swansea on the opening day of the season. His replacement, Rob Green, made a howler to concede the opening goal on his debut following his move from West Ham.
It is said a number of Kenny’s messages were of an aggressive nature.
The messages were supposedly sent on Saturday night and into the early hours of Sunday morning.

Chelsea looked good in the second half today. Then again it was Reading.
