I ran into the Norwich City club shopping at the Nike Employee Store today. They lost a friendly to the Timbers last night. The players and staffers I spoke with were unbelievably friendly and happy to talk football. G Carlo Nash is big, and was walking around the store in bare feet, which I thought was funny.

I also saw Robert SNODGRASS!! but did not recognize him until I got home and looked at their roster on their home page. I did not realize that Grant Holt had signed with Wigan, to be closer to his family.

Anyhow it was neat and they did not big-time anyone, probably because 99 percent of the people in the store had no idea who they were. I really wanted to at least say hello to Chris Hughson but he was not there yet.

 

Cool. But 1) how did you get into the employee store and 2) can you hook a brother up with some of the those new Free Flyknits?

 

Is CONCACAF going make a decision on Jurgen before the anthems are played? This must be disrupting his wardrobe decision making process.
