Berbatov to Fulham could be a great snag.

Looks like Hugo Lloris will end up at Spurs, not great for Friedel.

Citeh keeps getting richer with Javi Garcia and Maicon.

Everton sign a keeper for 6 million pounds. That can't be good for Timmy.

City's doing Spurs a couple of favors. First Adebayor, now they've signed Gareth Bale's favorite toy.

Well, seems like my wish may have come true. Dempsey's apparently at White Hart Lane.

Dempsey has reportedly agreed to terms.

Also, Bocanegra is now on loan to Racing Santander (Spanish second division) from Rangers (Scottish fourth).

Spurs paid 6 million pounds for Dempsey, who apparently signed a 3-year deal.

Everton signing Jack Butland is still just a rumor -- no confirmation yet. Howard is better than Butland, but the latest Great English Goalkeeper would probably push him better than Mucha.

You'd have to think the Lloris deal is not good news for Friedel, but then again, given his age, it was probably only a matter of time before Spurs brought in a younger keeper.

The Anfield manager was desperate to finally secure the services of Dempsey from Fulham but the club's owners refused to sanction a £6million move.

Dempsey, who scored 17 goals in the Premier League last season, had rejected the chance to join Aston Villa earlier in the day in the hope that Liverpool would come up with the cash.

However, the Reds failed to do so and late on Friday night Dempsey agreed to sign for Tottenham on a three-year deal for £6million.

Fulham claim they turned down a bid of £3million from Liverpool and the ECHO understands the Reds weren't willing to go above £4million
