Pia's best work may have been stitching up the wounds from the 2007 World Cup that Greg Ryan caused.

I have it on DishNetwork, and I think it's part of the 250 package (which I have) and up. I thought I read somewhere that Dish and DirecTv are the only ones carrying BeIn.

Yes, and I like it very much.

Also, Fox Soccer Plus free preview starts Sept. 15, according to the promo that ran before the United match.

One of the very few times I'll be happy that Man U won.

Send up a flare, my friend, if you see a beIN livestream resource anywhere. I hate to think about missing a whole (fixed) AC Roma season while these cable contracts get hammered out.

Not only is beIN on DirecTV, but they just added it to the DirecTV iPad app.

Stoke City's made several moves haven't they? They got Maurice Edu from Rangers, as I recall, and have another U.S. team member (Cameron, I think?) on their roster.

Stoke also just signed Charlie Adams.

As a regular follower of Stoke, I'm not sure what to expect out of these new signings. Certainly the center of the midfield is better than it has been, but most of the teams chances are created from the wing in the Pulis system. Matthew Etherington and Jermaine Pennant have been solid in wing roles over the years, but they're fading - especially Etherington. There is not adequate cover in that aspect.

Aside from Owen, Edu, Adam and Geoff Cameron, they also brought in Michael Kightly. He seems to be one of those types (he had suffered from depression at Wolves) that Pulis likes to gamble on (much like Etherington with his gambling issues). I do believe that Owen will have to work for his playing time as Pulis is in love with Walters and Crouch. Owen will not have to worry about losing ground to Cameron Jerome and Kenwyne Jones though. Both are out of favor and are likely to be shipped out in the winter transfer window.
