Well, Guatemala would be stupid too not to go that route as Jamaica will likely make up the needed goals. May even see a 1-1 tie. Get a token goal each in the first half hour.

Reading a lot of speculation that tonight's WCQ in Kansas City is the audition for the Mexico qualifier next year (assuming the US gets needed result tonight).

I know the US-Mexico qualifiers have been in Columbus lately, so it's a safe bet US Soccer will continue to want those games in smaller venues. And with the reputation Livestrong Sporting Park is garnering, I think there's a good chance the US-Mexico game would be there next year.

Canada shitting the bed at Honduras, down 5-0. If if was slightly less of an ass-kicking Canada would be in line to advance due to goal difference and the fact that Panama is losing to Cuba.

Wild shit in Kansas City. Ruiz gets Guatemala on the board, but the US answers with Bocanegra and Dempsey. The Ragu Boyz are up 2-0 vs. Antigua, but still has work to do.

3-1 U.S. and in firm control to advance.

Guatemala is in a world of shit. Methinks Jamaica owes the USA four points next year.

Lil' Bradley got robbed by Dempsey on that 3rd goal.

He and Eddie Johnson are playing well. And the midfield played well tonight. Graham Zusi may become a permanent fixture in the US midfield.

Nice job by the U.S. of coming up big when it needed it last night (even if they did get behind first).
However, the same can't be said of Canada. I can see losing, even if you only need a draw to get through, but losing 8-1? To Honduras?!? Holy smokes.

Good effort from the U.S., for sure.

Also worth noting from yesterday is Sweden's 4-4 draw with Germany. They were down 4-0 with 30 minutes left and managed to score 4, incredible.
